Joan Davis - RIP

For anyone that ever attended a Council Meeting, there was always one constant. Joan Davis would be keeping a watchful eye on every ordinance and trying to get answers. She will be missed.

From the Record:

Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli announced late this afternoon that an autopsy coupled with analysis of the scene indicated the death was the result of a homicide. He stressed that the female body, which was badly damaged by the fire, has not been identified yet and dental records are being sought.

Update: The bod has now been identified through dental records as that of Joan Davis. - The Record

They initially reported that Ms. Davis was found dead in her room last night after firefighters were alerted to a possible fire.

Sources tell NBCNewYork: the cause of death was blunt force trauma. Sources have also told me that she had been stabbed multiple times.
A quick google search shows that this is similar to a murder that took place in Palisade Park 4 months ago.
Update: Molinelli said through a spokeswoman that the two crimes were not similar in nature.
