More fliers

I received this in my in-box this morning. I also received a couple pieces of mail from the Teaneck Local 215 Policeman's Benevolent Association, Inc. and the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police. I'll post them as soon as I have a chance to scan them.

The Real Truth About The New Council Proposed Public Safety Director

Fact: More than $10,000,000 (10 Million) of our Tax Dollars have been spent on employee lawsuits and litigation from the Police and Fire Departments over the last 10-15 years because of "Department Administration Actions and Errors".

Fact: The proposed Public Safety Director will give "management better controls and accountability over the administrative functions of the Police and Fire Department" and leave the emergency services to the existing professionals.

Fact: The new Proposed Public Safety Director will replace two vacant Chief positions whose combined annual salary and benefits is over $365,000 with an experienced trained Public Safety Director making only $ 110,000,
immediately saving taxpayers more than $250,000 a year.

Fact: Council is replacing a position from a "Top Heavy Administration", leaving the same amount of police on the street and firefighters in the trucks. Historically, Chiefs have gone on less than 1% of annual calls/runs that come into their departments.

Why is Councilwoman Toffler cozying up to “Out of Town Lobbyist, Associations and Special Interest Groups” that are spending tens of thousands of dollars on the recent mailings to Teaneck residents????
