Here's a link to yet another article about Mayor Hameeduddin and Teaneck. While covering much of the same ground as all the other articles, the interesting aspect of this one is that it's published in the Los Angeles Times, where presumably many readers have never even heard of Teaneck. With the continuing onslaught of anti-Muslim and nativist rhetoric stoked by conservative demagogues in the media, Teaneck will continue to get positive press as the counterpoint, a place that proves that people can live together in relative harmony
I wonder whether there are ways that we can capitalize on this media attention to bring economic opportunities to the town? Ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
