It's that time of year again.

From Teaneck Patch:

I just want to remind you now as we enter the snow time of year, that Teaneck does not allow parking on the street during and immediately after a snowfall. This ordinance is not just vital for the cleanliness of our town, but also for the safety of our residents and to enable emergency vehicles to pass.

And I ask those who will be away at some point during the winter, please arrange to have your property shoveled. Last year some houses had ice on their walks for months—and ice can be deadly for pedestrians.

Wishing you and your family a happy, healthy and safe holiday season,
